Northern Valley VS Cheylin

Last week was a very exciting week for the Northern Valley football team. The team came off a thirteen game losing streak, to beat Cheylin 26-6. The wind was a big factor for this game and it started out with Jacob making a three yard touchdown with 2:04 left in the first quarter. NV attempted to pass the ball for the P.A.T. and that failed making the score 6-0. Half way through the second quarter Cheylin scored with a sixteen yard run. They attempted to run the ball for the extra point but that failed which made the score 6-6 with 6:28 left in the second quarter, but the Huskies weren't giving up yet. When Cheylin kicked off, Ethan caught the ball and ran it back all the way for a 77 yard kick return. The P.A.T failed and left the score 12-6. With 1:52 left in the second quarter. The Huskies showed they weren't leaving and scored again. Justin ran a 53 yard run to make the score 18-6. The P.A.T failed again. After half time NV only scored one more touchdown ran by Brian. He ran for 34 yards to make the score 24-6 and Justin ran in the P.A.T to make the final score 26-6.
