FFA WEEK

NVHS celebrated National FFA week with various activities throughout the week. Since there was no school on Monday, Tuesday started the week with "dress as a hick day". Wednesday was official dress with members wearing the customary corduroy blue jacket. Thursday was "chicken checkers", in which contestants wrote their name on paper that covered the old gym floor and won prizes if the chicken "selected" that place to ? (this is a school web page). Friday the high school students gave presentations at the elementary school where the day's lunch came from. (Gilled cheese, corn, and milk). The student activity was "drive your junker to school day". Because of scheduling conflicts, the final event of visiting the middle school will take place on Friday the 29th.
