Northern Valley USD # 212 Superintendent George Griffith, “Mr. G” has been in education for ten years. Mr. G taught science for 7 years and served as the Science Consultant for the Kansas State Department of Education from March 2005 to July 2006. Mr. G has an AS in Medical Laboratory Technology from Penn State University, a BS in Secondary Education in the areas of Biology and General Science from Clarion University of PA, a Masters in Educational Administration from Fort Hays State and is currently doctoral candidate in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in science education at Kansas State University. George is a native of southwestern Pennsylvania where most of his family still lives. He presently resides in Almena with his wife Cheri. They have four children Seth, Jason, Nathan, and Kristin.
