Northern Valley 6th & 7th Grade Boys win 1st Place at the Hill City Track Meet

 

          On an extremely windy day the NVJH track team competed in the Hill City meet.  The 6^th & 7^th grade boys won first place scoring 120 points, Phillipsburg was second with 105 points followed by Ellis with 86.  Phillip Bryant won three 1^st and one 2^nd  place.  Eli Lowry won a 1^st, 2^nd and a 3^rd place medal on the day.  The Northern Valley 6^th & 7^th grade girls finished in 4^th place with 77 points.  Logan and Trego tied for second with 78 points and Phillipsburg won with 127 points.  Kirsten Burger won two 1^st place medals while Brooke Baird and Kortney Cunningham each won one first place medal.  The four NV 8^th graders finished in 7^th place as a team and Jordan Baird won two 2^nd place medals on the day.  The Huskies will travel to Quinter on Friday, April 30 to compete in the Quinter Invitational track meet.
