Each student enrolled in Advanced Foods created their own pot of chili last week. They selected the recipes, made shopping lists, and prepared their own unique chili. They also calculated the cost of their soup per serving. Students, teachers, and parents attended the cook-off and voted on their favorites. Winners emerged in four separate catagories: Spiciest Chili - Alex Stevens; Most Unique Chili - Aaron Pinzenscham; Best Value Chili - Hunter Chandler; and Overall Favorite Chili - Mike Griffin. Other participants in the contest included Cassie Field, Elizabeth Hanchett and Kelsey Raburn. Kelsey said, "I had fun participating in the chili cook-off! It was a great way to compete with classmates and we've never done it before."
