The Nutrition and Wellness classes recently completed a Beverage Project. Each student evaluated 5 different beverages based on their sugar, caffeine, calorie and essential nutrient content. The students displayed their results on tables in the hallway in an effort to educate the student body regarding the beverages they consume. Morgan found this project “fun and interesting.” She was surprised by “how much sugar and other things we put in our bodies.”
