Coach Lowry’s Comments –
The Northern Valley girls traveled to Rexford to take on the Golden Plains Bulldogs for their last game of 2020. This was an exciting night of basketball for both teams. The A-team girls went into halftime down by 9 and came back in the third to outscore the Bulldogs by 6. They continued the streak to tie the game. The girls went to the free throw line 8 times in overtime ending the game 29-26. Delaney Sides had a great game with 15 points and 14 rebounds followed by Audrey Bina with 10 points. The B-girls also went into halftime down by 3 and came back in the second half with full court pressure winning the game 22-17. Jordyn Cox led the team with 12 points followed by Brooke Preston with 8.
