HS JV Boys Basketball in Phillipsburg
On Monday, Dec. 7 the N.V. High School Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Squad traveled to Phillipsburg to take on the J.V. Panther Team.
The J.V. Huskies pulled off an exciting 59-32 win. "This was a fun game, where everybody contributed to the win," reported Husky Assistant Coach Glenn Brands. "Kai Cox really showed leadership during this fast-paced game. Aaron Estes also came in and made some key defensive steals and rebounds for us."
Scoring for the Huskies were: Kenton Thalheim, 14; Jeremiah Hansen, 13; Kai Cox, 12; Brody Preston, 9; Drew Schemper, 6; Jason Cox, 5.
The J.V. Huskies' record now stands at 2-0, as their first win over Cheylin (after two quarters of play) was with a final score of 32-20.
