The Northern Valley Lady Huskies vs Thunder Ridge Longhorns 3/2/23 Substate Semi-Finals
The Northern Valley Lady Huskies traveled to Tescott to play their substate semi-finals game against the ladies from Thunder Ridge. The Huskies faced a very quickly rotating and effective 2-3 zone that caused problems all night. The Lady Longhorns had a couple of real scoring threats that the Huskies knew going in would be threats and they were. The Longhorns also had other players step up on the big game stage which made it a solid victory in favor of the Longhorns. Seniors Shaylee Vsetecka and Angel Joppa finished their careers with the loss. Vsetecka finished the season with exactly 100 points as well as leading the team in steals with 63. The Huskies ended their season at 14-8.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what more than 400 dozen donuts looks like in the back of a U-Haul truck. Headed to Almena!

Join the Valley in cheering on the HS boys basketball team to a sub-state championship win tonight in Tescott @ 7:00 PM. If you are unable to make the trip .... tune into www.openspacessports.com to catch the action! Go Huskies!!
